The Oaks of Clearwater has a 26 unit, locked and secure floor for the saftey of our memory care residents. Specialized area staffed with trained individuals to meet physical and psychosocial needs of all levels of Alzheimers and Dementia related illnesses.

Memory boxes are used to display old photos and mementos to help residents identify their rooms. Often Alzheimers and Dementia impairs short-term memory but leaves long-term memory intact which may allow the resident to recognize an old photo of themselves in their youth.
